The custom domain cap is the number of hostnames a pack can hold at once. On the business tiers the first is included, and extras up to the cap are prepaid $49/year slots paid from your credits; the cheaper packs run on the shared taproute domain.
That is the whole list. No per-code fees, no seats, no subscription. The dollar-priced extras are drawn from your credits at your own wallet’s rate (published on your billing page) and revised only with 30 days’ notice.
Every credit you buy is good for 12 months. Buy another pack, even the $8 Entry one, and the clock resets on your entire balance for a fresh 12 months. We email you 30 days before anything is due to expire, so a balance never vanishes on you.
A new account starts with 500 free scans and no card on file. They last 7 days, and we remind you 2 days before they run out. It is enough to put a code on a table and watch it work. Past that, scans run on credits.
When a paid balance reaches zero, a grace period begins and we warn you first. Your codes keep redirecting through the grace window, and worst case they pause until you top up. Nothing is ever deleted, and everything resumes the moment you buy credits. A trial account has no grace window: once the 500 scans are gone, codes pause until you buy a pack.
Point a domain you already own at us with a single CNAME record, and we run the SSL and routing. Custom domains are a business-tier feature: the first is included with every pack from Growth up (Scale and Volume include two). Extra domains are prepaid $49/year slots paid from your credits, up to your pack’s cap: Growth 3, Scale 10, Volume 25, and anything past 25 is quoted, so a repeat buyer just adds the next as a slot. A slot your balance cannot cover simply pauses; it is never billed. Entry, Starter and Standard run on the shared taproute domain only. The same feature costs $420 to $2,000 per domain per year at the incumbents.
Scans are always 1 credit, and that never changes. The optional extras (AI art at $0.40, page chat at $0.02 per answered message, an extra domain at $49/year) are priced in cash and drawn from your balance at your wallet’s own blended rate. So every pack pays the same dollars for the same feature, and a small buyer never subsidizes a big one. Your exact credit costs are published on your billing page.
No auto-renewal, no recurring charge, and no card kept on file unless you choose to buy again. Prepaid credits are the entire model, so there is nothing to cancel.
If you bought under a previous price ladder, that lot keeps the domain allowance it came with for as long as it stays active. Nobody loses a connected domain because we reshaped the packs.
The cash rate card can be revised, and only with 30 days’ notice, as spelled out in the Terms. The 1 credit = 1 scan promise is exempt: it is fixed for good.
